The fighting starts again between their parents. " all they do is fight" Liam said to his brother Matt. "this is getting ridiculous" said Matt. "do u think they will you know what" said Conor. "a divorce" said Liam. "i don't know that is between mom and dad to figure out, it is non of our business" says Matt. after the fighting stops their mom yells at their father to get out of the house and never come back again. "i think we know what that means" says Conor. "shut up Conor" Liam said.

        Once dad was gone, I felt like everything in the house just got better. Mom wasn't mad anymore and all four of us got along really well. No fighting, everything was going smooth and the way they should have been all along. i mean life was great now that dad is gone. We didn't hear from dad until he called and said "I want to talk to your mother please"

        Mom picks up the phone and says "hello"

        " I just explain to you that I cheated on you while we where married, it was wrong and i had to tell you." said dad

        Just days after the phone call mom had gotten paper's to file for a divorce with dad. This is a point in time where it is extremely tough on mom and tough on our family. What if dad get custody today us?

        We don't want to be with him after what he did too you. The first thing i thought when we told you that he had cheated on you was what an awful person, how could you do that to our mom she is the nicest, sweetest person ever. How could you do such a thing especially to your wife, its just awful.

        After all of the over the phone with dad and the divorce papers where sent it, everything around the house got better. since dad has been gone there has been no fighting or complaining with anyone, there is finally some piece and quiet around here. this is the way all four of us have been wanting to live ever since mom and dad started fighting.

        As soon as dad had left this house i felt that my relationship with my mother and brothers has gotten to be much stronger then it has ever been before.

        But all of a sudden, everything that has starting to get good for everything that were happening, they all just turned to awful. We have just found out that Aidan has been diagnosed with Cancer. This is news that no one ever wanted to her about a family member having Cancer. when i had found out i was devastated.

        Since we all know about Aidan's Cancer, everything we have been doing recently is so meaningful to our family. The doctor told our mom that they aren't sure how long Aidan has to live, it could be months or years he has left to live.

        While we are doing all these fun activities such as going to the fair, mini golfing, shopping for Aidan, Matt suggests that the boys should go out and see their father in California. While mom is thinking about that they are going around Boston sight seeing, they only live about 15 minutes south of Boston. mom finally makes her decision, but the weird thing about it is that mom wants to come with us too. We all thought for sure she was kidding, or just joking around but she was dead serious about going to California. We all thought why would she want to go and see dad after the divorce, and all the fighting that will probably happen in California too.

        " This is a family time because of Aidan I can get along with your father just fine for a week or so"

        When we arrived in California, we got off the plane and when right to the baggage claim to get our suit cases. Once we where all set with our stuff, we went to pick up our rental car across the street. When we got the car we where headed for dad's "girlfriends" house. She lives at 76 Coastal Ave. when we arrive at her house, it is a gorgeous light gray house with lots of glass windows. It is a magnificent house to be in. Once we see the inside of it, we haven't even seen the best part yet in the backyard of her house, she has a huge deck and then a rather steep stair case that leads to her gorgeous California beach. the sand is so white and soft, when you step in the sand it is so warm and feels really good. The ocean is beautiful, a light blue color is the water color. It is a spectacular place to be when you have a gorgeous house to stay in and your own little beach. right now California is awesome.

        When we settle in at her house it was about dinner time, we ordered Chinese food and had a few of dad's friends over and they brought their children our age so we could hang out with them. We all watched the big San Francisco Giants baseball game.

        When the people arrive there was this one girl that i started to notice that my brother Liam was paying a lot of attention to, he sat next to her and was always talking to her. I think he might have started a little thing with her because the next few days since he first met her, he was always with her. It come to the point where it is time for us to leave California and go back to Boston, but strangely Liam says to mom,

        " I want to stay."

        " Are you sure you want to do this Liam?"

        " Yes mom there is this girl that I really like and it would kill me if I just left and didn't see her".

        " Ok Liam well then I'm happy for you, I will call you once we land is Boston."

        Once we leave for the airport I wonder will i ever see my brother again? Would he get married and move away? It is going to be torture for me Matt and mom not being able to see Liam

        A few month's later mom receives a wedding invitation from dad. Mom is furious.

        "Guys I am sending you out there for the wedding, but I am staying here." said mom.

        "Why mom" said Matt.

        "Because i can't believe that your father would leave for three months and then get remarried. It's her just threw everything away". said mom, (she start's crying).

        "It's gonna be ok mom, you will get threw it." said Matt.

        Two weeks later we flight out to California for dad's wedding. As we get off the plain and threw baggage claim, to see Liam waiting outside to pick us up. Once we notice him, we raced over to his Jeep. Not seeing him for two weeks seems life forever. We hop into the car and head back to dad's house. When we arrive to the house we relax and rest up for tomorrow's big day. Here it is the day of dad's wedding.

        We wake up to a beautiful breakfast, then have to go get dressed. After all that is done, it's about four o'clock, everyone is here and it's time. Once dad and Carla ( his fiance) walk down the isle, say there vows and exchange rings, it's final they are officially married. It was a gorgeous wedding, the view was magnificent, the flowers, the food, all of it was perfect. Now its time for the after party. Every one is dancing and having a great time talking and enjoying their selves. The next day, first thing as we wake up all i hear is,

        "You guys ready to go home" said Liam.

        " What do you mean. i thought you wanted to stay here because of that girl." said Matt.

        " Not anymore, it turns out that she has a boyfriend." Liam said.

        " So let's go home where we belong with mom"

my short story idea

For my short story i am going to write about an 18 year old boy named Liam that lives in the town of Mitlon. He is very atheletic and is a good student. he attends Milton High School and is hoping to go to college at the Unviversity of Maine. he and his two brothers live in a very nice house. his older brother is in college at the University of Vermont and his youngest brother is at Milton High School. But his parents are going to have a devorce, they split up and the father goes out to live in California. he finds a girlfriend out there and lives with her in a house right on the beach. Liam and his two younger brothers only go out there to see their father about three times a year, but the first time Liam goes there he meets this girl that he really starts to like. he goes back to Milton, three months later he goes and visits his dad and he told his mom that he wants to stay there becasue of this girl. the mom is devistated that he wants to saty there but at the same time she is really happy that he has found someone he likes. that is how far i have gotten with my story.
